Truth, by Odimegwu Onwumere

Truth is not a stranger
as many people
have made it look like.

When they think that
it has overstayed
they pursue it to leave
or shut their doors
when they are not comfortable
with its visitation.

They see its coming
as an insult
and avoid it from aloof.

They make it look scarce
but there will always be
an excessive demand of it
because there are still people
whose doors are opened
asking it to enter.
