HUMAN Rights activist and National Chairman of the national Conscience Party (NCP), Mr. Femi Falana, yesterday proposed the marriage of all progressive parties in the country to push the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) out of power next year.
Falana made the proposition, when he visited the National Chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
The radical lawyer accused the ruling PDP of not having anything meaningful to show for its almost 12 years rule in the country. He said that the party had impoverished Nigerians.
His words: “In the last 12 years, Nigeria has made more money than the country had made in the past 38 years. Yet, there is nothing to show for it, other than poverty, massive unemployment, kidnapping, terrorism, rigging of elections, armed robberies and the rest of them.
