Jonathan Appoints New Head of Service

President Goodluck Jonathan Monday announced the appointment of Mr. B Sali, to replace Prof. Oladapo Afolabi, as the new Head of Service of the Federation.

Sali, until his appointment, was the Permanent Secretary in the office of the Head of Civil Service and would be taking over from Afolabi, who retires on September 29.

A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ruben Abati, said: “President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the appointment of Mr. I.B. Sali, as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. Sali, who is currently a Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, is to take over from the incumbent, Prof. Oladapo Afolabi, who is scheduled to proceed on retirement on September 29, 2011.”
