Despite a Federal High Court order against it, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) conducted primary election for the Bayelsa state gubernatorial election.
In his acceptance speech Seriake Dickson thanked all the delegates and his rivals especially Chief Francis Doukpola, Youpele Kalango and Fred Ekiyegha promising to run an all inclusive government when voted into power come February 2012.
