PDP and Segun Oni's torture chambers located right inside Ekiti Government House where journalists duly accredited by INEC to observe the 24 April, 2009 Ekiti Senatorial rerun Election were assaulted, beaten, bitten and manhandled. The victims are Itobo Ofem of the Verite Newspapers based in Rivers State, Gospel Oziri of the National Guide Newspapers based in Ebonyi State and the third victim - a Yoruba man can not be ascertained as at press time.

The perpetrators are Sanya Adesua alias Pero-Commissioner I of Ekiti State Civil Service Commission, Bolanle Bruce who is the Snr. Special Assistant to Gov. Segun Oni on "Ekiti in Diaspora", Yemi Olayinka, a pastor and a PDP defeated Chairmanship aspirant for Ado-Ekiti Local Govt in the Local Govt Elections of 2008, Olu Ojo, Femi Ijakoko, the chief thug of Gov Segun Oni and Femi aka Akilapa, another PDP thug.
