Three students killed in examination hall collapse

Three pupils, including a girl, were killed and hundreds injured when a building in which they were writing the West African Examination Council School Certificate examination (WASCE), collapsed on them.

2013 Top 100 Universities In Nigeria -NUC Ranking

National University Commission, NUC, has released the list of the Top 100 Universities in Nigeria for 2013. The Nigerian premier university, University of Ibadan takes its rightful position at the top of the list. It is followed by University of Lagos, Unilag and University of Benin, Uniben in second and third place respectively.

Expelled Final Year Student Sues Redeemers Varsity

A four hundred level student of Political Science of Redeemers University of all Nations, John Gift Momoh expelled by the school over allegations of taking hard drugs has dragged the institution before an Ogun State High Court in Ota, southwest Nigeria.

Jonathan Appoints Shamed Former House Speaker, Others to Universities Governing Councils
